Sun Hands. An older piece but an important one. The sun has been out more, the days are growing longer, the sun hugs are happening. Two of my favorite pieces that came out of 2020; “Portal Tree” and “Chronos & Kairos” I’m not particularly proud of this one yet, hopefully that changes. It truly doesn’t feel finished...some colors may change, additions or subtractions may happen eventually.
.
I mainly am sharing this right now because of the damn algor Some details within my last two acrylic pieces
..
I’m trying to get back into artwork today, if it happens it happens. I’m not forcing anything right now—it seems like the more people I’ve talked to lately the more everyone ha B&W from ages ago... I sat down last night trying to add more details to this piece. Listening to a podcast while staring blankly at this wooden panel that still doesn’t feel finished. I gave up after a few hours...
.
A familiar experience with my work. Sometimes The never ending dilemma of “is this done or not?” This is was my first time working with acrylic—it took me a while to get used to it but I’m excited to try and explore this medium more. Bear and wolf...the beginnings of this oil piece way back in 2017. Painted after a vivid and important dream. Just trying to do my best... I thought I would share some of the stages of this oil piece from last year, I still am unsure whether it’s finished or not. Thought? It’s the little details that I tend to fall in love with An untitled oil on linen from 2020. “Messenger” 2020. Watercolor and pen on paper, 9x12 inches. Just a little continuation of the being from my last piece... “In Transition” 2020. Watercolor and pen on paper, 16x20 inches.
